Living with Oligo

We can never return to what we were. We can only move forward to what we will become.

Obviously, no one planned on having something like oligodendroglioma enter their life, no one is prepared, and it is not easy for any of us.

Dealing with the medical jargon, the treatments, the MRIs, and the realities of this disease can be extremely challenging. And confusing.

But it doesn’t stop there.  The emotional toll and journey can be difficult to navigate on many levels, for survivors and family alike.  For most of us, our lives will never be the same.  We may live our lives better in some ways—i.e. truly knowing that each day is a gift, but at the same time, the shadow over the future never goes away.
